Your First Appointment & Treatment
Here are some things to keep in mind when coming for your first treatment that will help the process go as smoothly as possible.
Your first acupuncture appointment and treatment will take about 1.5 hours. You'll bring in the New Client Intake form, located to the right under Things to Remember, and we will thoroughly review your full health history. We will talk about all aspects of your health, both current and past. We are open to any questions that you may have so don't hesitate to ask anything. Please call our office to book your initial appointment.
After reviewing your health history, you will receive your first treatment. Once the needles are placed, you relax quietly for about 30-45 minutes. The majority of patients fall asleep during this time and wake up refreshed.
Follow up Treatments
These will be one hour appointments. They will consist of a short interview to determine how your health is progressing. Then you will receive a similar acupuncture treatment to your first session.
